I AM GOING TO HONG KONG AND MACAU SOON

Hey readers, I will be off to Macau and Hong Kong for a week of vacation on 14 June.I can't wait to bring my parents to enjoy the cruise and nice food...Although this time we have to pay normal price for the cruise and stay in motel instead of hotel in Hong kong, I still think its worth going...Worth going for the experience.
Lately, Mei Sann was very interested in something:See the pic up there? What is that?Yukata. She wants to go to the Bon Ondori festival(Japanese ghost festival) held in shah Alam. This is an annual event and entrance is FREE.The last time I went there was 10 years ago when I was still in INTI college. She's been hinting me that she wants to buy a yukata(a summer version of kimono made of cotton and more affordable as well). She thought she would look nice in a yukata because she is fair and had small eyes and can be mistaken as a japanese when she wears one...So I advise her that buying a yukata is not practical. She can't wear to much functions except costume party...She can't even wear to wedding dinners unless she is the VVIP in the wedding dinner who is a japanese.Let me illustrate. What if u see a malay girl that wears a kimono for a chinese wedding dinner at a restaurant?Don't u think it is weird???
Apparently, this Mei sann had a dream last night. She dreams of buying a second hand MP3 player which has many downloaded songs inside. There is discount for that.Yesterday, we went to Lowyat plaza to buy some computer accesories for my pc.Mei sann took the opportunity to survey some MP3/MP4 prices. She must be thinking of the MP3 too much, if not, why would she dream of it?She had an MP4, but it was spoilt and she had asked me earlier whether I can help her send it for repair at Lowyat plaza.I told her that MP3 can't be repaired.the cost of repairing is higher than a brand new one.
And so happens, Mei sann is going to shanghai for vacation.we are in the same country, just different regions in China. So, I hope we will enjoy our vacation to the fullest and spend our money wisely....tata!!!

27 dresses and REEBOK shoes.

I went to times square and watch 27 dresses yesterday. It was a funny movie.Basically this movie is about bridesmaid and weddings. The main character, Jane has been a bridemaid for 27 weddings and was married yet.To cut the long story short, Jane found the love of her life, Malcom , who is a writer that covers weddings. In the end, they tied the knot....
Before we watch the movie,Mei sann and I went to the shoe shop to buy sports shoe. After seeing a few designs, we decided on a light blue Reebok sportshoe that cost RM159(original price is RM199).
My sis in law, Fung helped mei sann to sell her handmade accesories to her collegues. She is indeed a good businesswoman since she sold quite a number of items.
By the way, I did not get enough sleep last night and felt sleepy in the morning.Tonight, i am gonna rest early to compensate the sleep I had been deprived from.Till then readers, stay tuned and dun go away. You are welcome to post comment in the shoutbox on the right.Bye bye!

Cheng Ming festival and Birthday celebration

I just went back to my hometown Gemas for cheng ming day.We went to my relatives grave and do some cleaning up.I had to wake up very early and travel to Tangkak from Gemas. My family went to eat beef noodles, which are very famous at Tangkak, except for me, becoz I don't like that kind of smell.I don't like cheese, oyster, beef, lamb....Unlike Mei Sann who loves to eat those.I told Mei sann I will only eat those if she cooks.
Mei Sann's birthday is coming soon, which is 17 April. She is turning 22 this year.I am still thinking what to give her.At first she ask me to buy her bird nest's drink(those bottled up like the chicken essence type). She loves to drink that although I think its a bit too sweet for me.Then she say dun want bird nest's drink anymore becoz she thinks she can buy herself.
There is a guy who is interested in renting my Condo's small room.He is also in IT line.Hopefully, I am able to rent it out to lessen my financial burden.I had yet to have a house warming becoz I had not buy sofa, and dining table yet.

Happy EASTER everyone!
Just now, I attended Grace Baptist Church for easter sunrise service. It started at 7am.My goodness!I could not wake up that early.Hence, Mei Sann to give me wake up call.Last night I slept around 1 something, thats why can't wake up.When I arrived at the church, the pastor has begun preaching.I missed the 3 presentations earlier by the youth and children ministry.
Oh ya.I was being so unlucky lately. My car's left window glass was smashed by some intruder who attempted to steal my CD player but failed. While I was in my friend's car, I saw my car's signal ringing and I knew something was wrong.Alas! My window was broken and my car was filled with shattered glasses. The next morning, i went to a chopshop at puchong to repair my window.Luckily, it was not my front window, if not, I will be very broke.I had spent a lot of money on my house renovation 2 months ago.
Mei Sann suggested that I invite a pastor to pray for my new house to get rid of possible evil spirits and to prevent robbery.
Oh, I am soooooooooooooo sleepy now(yawn).I guess i need to rest before going to Paul's office to work later.HAPPY EASTER EVERYONE..........May God bless you!

I'M BACK AFTER MIA FOR QUITE SOMETIME..

So, What has happened to me these days?So many stories to share...hmm.....
I went to enjoyable and relaxious cruise with my family:My parents, brother and sis in law.
Aboard we went into the beautiful Superstar virgo ship.It has 13 storeys, swimming pools, jacuzzi, a basketball court, tennis, big auditorium and several restaurants serving a great variety of FOOD!!!!!!Just name it:whatever food u love....Chinese food, mediterrannean food, Japanese food, french cuisine, Italian...MMM...So many choices to choose from until u rambang mata u know...We have 6 meals a day:Breakfast,in between tea break, lunch, tea break, dinner, supper. No wonder I gained some extra pounds(looks at the tummy now and found that it's bigger).
Haha...We could watch shows at night, professional singers entertaining us with blues, oldies and Jazz song....How relaxing.FYI, there is also a topless show available, but of course that is not free.(We din golah). So, u guys must be thinking how come I get this super delightful trip for FREE!!!The story is...my 2nd younger bro works in starcruise based in Hong kong and after serving the company faithfully for 5 years, he get to bring his immediate family for a trip to any cruise for free, once a year.WHAT?U think once a year not got enuf ah...For a normal, they have to pay RM2000 above each. Not forgetting, they also need to pay surcharge and port tax etc...
The ship took off from port klang, then it travelled to Pulau phuket, then to Langkawi and back to Klang. We were in the ship for 3 nights and 4 days. While we were at Phuket, we went for some activities such as jet ski and going for Thai masage(this is absolutely indulging and cheap).I and my dad took a stroll along the beach. It was very long:2 km!The beach is loaded with chairs for tourist along the shore: imagine 2 km long!We could not finish walking along the whole beach. As we enjoyed our stroll under the hot sun, we walk past mat salleh ladies who were topless(no need to watch topless show in the ship already). Many tourist were sun bathing and cooked themselves under the sun.
On the 3rd day, the ship stopped at langkawi. We went duty free shopping and bought some souvenirs for friends.we also visited the underwater world, Mahsuri's tomb etc.
On the 4th day.We arrived back at port Klang. We enjoyed ourselves very much and waiting to come again next year.My mum said this is indeed a good trip. Thanks to my brother Alvin, for the free trip.

Any plans for valentine's day?

Today I went to KLCC to buy a card after having my lunch. I bought a card at ground floor memory lane kiosk. There are many types of beautiful cards for you to choose. Finally, I choose the one which has a simple designe with pink background color. After that, I walked to Ambank to pay my car installment, and guess what? I met Anthony ,who is Karen's uncle, and I was surprise to meet him.
Valentine's day is coming soon, most couples will buy card, chocolate, flower, have dinner with lover. How about you? how are you going to celebrate it?As for me, we went to a chinese restaurant behind PGRM building. We order 3 dishes but could not finish it.The pics above shows the dishes we ordered. The food was affordable, not more than RM50.Who say that on valentine's day, we must go to expensive fancy restaurant? As long as we enjoy, even lepaking at the drainside is still fun...

Patrick open house on February 10, 2008

I visited Patrick's house at Desa Parkcity, Damansara. This was my first visit to his house. The renovation of his house is very nice. He paid RM6000 for an interior designer to design and decorate the whole house. It is really worth it!!!!!
Patrick's wife specially ordered asam lasak for the guests. The asam lasak soup was spicy enough and very tasty. Besides, he(Patrick) is too generous to open his personal collection Scott Whisky to welcome us. He kept that bottle of liquor for 13 years. Brian and I totally fell in love with this blue Scott Whisky. Nevertheless,we enjoyed the Whisky very much.
I got few ang pows from Karen' aunties at Patrick's house, I had a wonderful night because of the nice food, whiskey and ang pows as well. Not forgetting, today is also Patrick's son birthday,Calvin's 1st Birthday. We nicknamed him "Tau fu fah" becoz his skin is so fair and super smooth and soft, just like tau fu fah...haha...But he is also a destroyer(He catches the fish in the pond to play), becoz he will scream whenever he can't get his way through. We are scared of his scream, its deafening...

Karen's mother Glenise prepared a lot of tasty food including shark's fin soup, roast duck, abalone, and variety of vegetables. I enjoyed the nice food tried all the dishes prepared by Glenise. Karen' relatives came to the reunion, and it was my first time to meeting her uncles and aunties.

First visit to MPO Jungle Trekking At Gasing Hill

On the 30th of January,I made first visit to MPO(Malaysian Philharmonic orchestra) at KLCC.I went there to attend a CNY special concert after my work.I brought along my zip jacket but it was'tn allowed.Hence, I had to borrow a jacket from the MPO with a deposit of RM50.Can you see me wearing the black jacket? It is a bit too big for me because they ran out of S size. For this concert, the dresscode is formal, no jeans, T-shirts and sneakers are allowed. We can't even drink water when the concert is on until the intermission or when it ends.Overall, I enjoyed the concert although I am not an expert in the music field.I went to this concert because Karen has to do a concert report for her music course assignment which is due after CNY.
Early this morning, I joined my church friends to Gasing Hill for jungle trekking. It was a nice and windy weather. This is my first time to Gasing Hill for jungle treKking and it is a nice place to visit. We reached there around 8 AM, and started to walk into the jungle, I was surprised to see many people here. Those trekking whom we dunno also wish us good morning and of course I wished them back as a courtesy. After the jungle trekking for one and half hours, we had breakfast at one of the mamak restaurant. Karen, Glenise and I ordered roti telur for the breakfast. Here are the pictures that we took during the trip.
Well, I am thinking of visiting bukit Gasing next time.

5 Steps to Disaster-Proof Your Dating
I found an article below which is from yahoo, and it is interesting.
1. Be ready.
Some folks approach life as if they were jumping into a cold swimming pool: They squeeze their eyes shut, hold their nose and jump. Who knows if they know how to swim?
It's far better to go into dating with your eyes open and your senses sharp. Take some time and review your current situation. What needs attention? Your physical self? Your surroundings? Your fears? Taking care of yourself first will help ensure your future success in love.
2. Get a life.
Nothing is more unattractive than someone with nothing to offer. While having space in your life for a partner is important, too much space will seem overwhelming to another. It's not up to a future partner to give you the life you haven't made for yourself.
Get out and get active! One of the best strategies for getting invitations is to give them. Try entertaining. If the thought of throwing a party scares you more than dating, you can invite people to all kinds of events as your guest. (But you might as well get your domicile ready for visitors. Where do you expect to entertain a sweetie?)
3. Enhance your good luck.
Many singles are so discouraged about the process of finding love that they can't help but feel unlucky. And most folks feel that there is little they can do to influence Lady Luck.
But research has found that is not so. What you think and do has enormous effects on bringing you good -- or bad -- luck. Taking steps to increase your luck will help you find the best of the best. Listen to your lucky hunches. Maximize chance opportunities by varying your routine. Above all, expect good fortune in your life. What have you got to lose? More bad luck?
4. Be prepared to tell the hard stuff.
Often singles are so worried about how to tell bad news to a new partner that it gets in the way of doing any dating at all. We all have pasts, and none of us gets much beyond the age of 21 without accumulating a bit of baggage that we are not so proud of.
Part of getting ready to date is dealing with your truth and coming to terms with your life so far -- and what you have learned in the process. Tell the hard stuff now, before you are put on spot.
5. Toughen up.
Do you want to avoid rejection entirely? Well, you'd better stay off dating sites, because rejection is the name of the game. Because you are jumping into a very large pool of potential candidates, you will be saying "no" to many perfectly nice people, and they will be saying (or acting) "no" to you. Saying and getting "no's" is part of getting to that big "YES!" If the no's are too much for you, you are in big trouble right now.

Just take 5 minutes to read this.
Just take 5 minutes to read this. It may save your life or love one's life.
Because of recent abductions in daylight hours, refresh yourself of these things to do in an emergency situation... This is for you, and for you to share with your wife, your children, everyone you know.
1. Tip fromTae Kwon Do: The elbowis the strongest point on your body.If you are close enough to use it, do!
2. Learned this from a tourist guide in New Orleans If a robber asks for your wallet and/or purse, DO NOT HAND IT TO HIM Toss it away from you.... chances are that he is more interested in your wallet and/or purse than you, and he will gofor the wallet/purse. RUN LIKE MAD IN THE OTHER DIRECTION!
3. If you are ever thrown into the trunk of a car, kick out the back tail lights and stick your arm out the hole and start waving like crazy. The driver won't see you, but everybody else will. This has saved lives.
4. Women have a tendency to get into their cars after shopping, eating, working, etc., and just sit (doing their checkbook, or making a list, etc. DON'T DO THIS!) The predator will be watching you, and this is the perfect opportunity for him to get in on the passenger side, put a gun to your head, and tell you where to go. AS SOON AS YOU GET INTO YOUR CAR, LOCK THE DOORS AND LEAVE.
a. If someone is in the car with a gun to your head DO NOT DRIVEOFF, repeat: DO NOT DRIVEOFF! Instead gun the engine and speed into anything, wrecking the car. Your Air Bag will save you. If the person is in the back seat they will get the worst of it. As soon as the car crashes bail out and run. It is betterthan having them find your body in a remote location.
5. A few notes about getting into your car in a parking lot, or parking garage:
A.) Be aware: look around you, look into your car, at the passenger side floor, and in the back seat
B.) If you are parked next to a big van, enter your car from the passenger door. Most serial killers attack their victims by pulling them into their vans while the women are attempting to get into their cars.
C.) Look at the car parked on the driver's side of your vehicle, and the passenger side. If a male is sitting alone in the seat nearest your car, you may want to walk back into the mall, or work, and get a guard/policeman to walk you back out. IT IS ALWAYS BETTER TO BE SAFE THAN SORRY. (And better paranoid than dead.)
6. ALWAYS take the elevator instead of the stairs. (Stairwells are horrible places to be alone and the perfect crime spot. This is especially true at NIGHT!)
7. If the predator has a gun and you are not under his control, ALWAYS RUN! The predator will only hit you (a running target) 4 in 100 times; And even then, it most likely WILL NOT be a vital organ. RUN, Preferably! in a zig -zag pattern!
8. As women, we are always trying to be sympathetic: STOP! It may get you raped, or killed. Ted Bundy, the serial killer, was a good-looking, well educated man, who ALWAYS played on the sympathies of unsuspecting women. He walked with a cane, or a limp, and often asked 'for help' into his vehicle or with his vehicle, which is when he abducted his next victim.

Carrots, eggs, and coffee
I just received a forwarded mail below from friend, and it is quite meaningful that you will never look at a cup of coffee the same way again, happy reading........
A young woman went to her mother and told her about her life and how things were so hard for her. She did not know how she was going to make it and wanted to give up. She was tired of fighting and struggling. It seemed as one problem was solved, a new one arose.
Her mother took her to the kitchen. She filled three pots with water and placed each on a high fire. Soon the pots came to boil. In the first placed carrots, in the second she placed eggs, and in the last she placed ground coffee beans. She let them sit and boil, without saying a word.
In about twenty minutes she turned off the burners. She fished the carrots out and placed them in a bowl. She pulled the eggs out and placed them in a bowl. Then she ladled the coffee out and placed it in a bowl.
Turning to her daughter, she asked, "Tell me what you see." Carrots, eggs, and coffee," she replied.
Her mother brought her closer and asked her to feel the carrots. She did and noted that they were soft. The mother then asked the daughter to take an egg and break it. After pulling off the shell, she observed the hard boiled egg.
Finally, the mother asked the daughter to sip the coffee. The daughter smiled as she tasted its rich aroma. The daughter then asked, "What does it mean?"
Her mother explained that each of these objects had faced the same adversity..boiling water. Each reacted differently.
The carrot went in strong, hard, and unrelenting. However, after being subjected to the boiling water, it softened and became weak.
The egg had been fragile. Its thin outer shell had protected its liquid interior, but after sitting through the boiling water, its inside became hardened.
The ground coffee beans were unique, however. After they were in the boiling water, they had changed the water.
Which are you?" she asked her daughter. "When adversity knocks on your door, how do you respond? Are you a carrot, an egg or a coffee bean?"
Think of this: Which am I?
Am I the carrot that seems strong, but with pain and adversity do I wilt and become soft and lose my strength?
Am I the egg that starts with a malleable heart, but changes with the heat? Did I have a fluid spirit, but after a death, a breakup, a financial hardship or some other trial, have I become hardened and stiff? Does my shell look the same, but on the inside am I bitter and tough with a stiff spirit and hardened heart?
Or am I like the coffee bean? The bean actually changes the hot water, the very circumstance that brings the pain. When the water gets hot, it releases the fragrance and flavor. If you are like the bean, when things are at their worst, you get better and change the situation around you.
When the hour is the darkest and trials are their greatest, do you elevate yourself to another level? How do you handle adversity?
Are you a carrot, an egg or a coffee bean?
May you have enough happiness to make you sweet, enough trials to make you strong, enough sorrow to keep you human and enough hope to make you happy.
The happiest of people don't necessarily have the best of everything; they just make the most of everything that comes along their way. The brightest future will always be based on a forgotten past; you can't go forward in life until you let go of your past failures and heartaches.
When you were born, you were crying and everyone around you was smiling. Live your life so at the end, you're the one who is smiling and everyone around you is crying.

Magic but real!
I personally tried on it, and it was funs.
MAGIC #1
An Indian discovered that nobody can create a FOLDER anywhere on the computer which can be named as "CON". This is something pretty cool...and unbelievable... At Microsoft the whole Team, couldn't answer why this happened!
TRY IT NOW ,IT WILL NOT CREATE " CON " FOLDER
MAGIC #2
For those of you using Windows, do the following:
1.) Open an empty notepad file
2.) Type "Bush hid the facts" (without the quotes)
3.) Save it as whatever you want.
4.) Close it, and re-open it. (open it note pad only)
is it just a really weird bug? :-??
MAGIC #3
microsoft crazy facts
This is something pretty cool and neat...and unbelievable... At Microsoft the whole Team, including Bill Gates, couldn't answer why this happened!
It was discovered by a Brazilian. Try it out yourself...
Open Microsoft Word and type
=rand (200, 99)
And then press ENTER

Be thankful!
Be thankful that you don't already have everything you desire,
If you did, what would there be to look forward to?
Be thankful when you don't know something
For it gives you the opportunity to learn.
Be thankful for the difficult times.
During those times you grow.
Be thankful for your limitations
Because they give you opportunities for improvement.
Be thankful for each new challenge
Because it will build your strength and character.
Be thankful for your mistakes
They will teach you valuable lessons.
Be thankful when you're tired and weary
Because it means you've made a difference.
It is easy to be thankful for the good things.
A life of rich fulfillment comes to those who are
also thankful for the setbacks.
GRATITUDE can turn a negative into a positive.
Find a way to be thankful for your troubles
and they can become your blessing.

Price rises for petro after election!?!?
I am thinking the petro price is definately going to rise up after the election in months later.
Do you prepare for the rising cost for petro?
Someone who has been in petroleum pipeline business for about 31 years and is currently working for the Kinder-Morgan Pipeline in San Jose, CA wrote the following information:
We deliver about 4 million gallons in a 24-hour period from the pipe line; one day it's diesel, the next day it's jet fuel and gasoline. We have 34 storage tanks here with a total capacity of 16,800,000 gallons. Here are some tricks to help you get your money's worth.
1. Fill up your car or truck in the morning when the temperature is still cool. Remember that all service stations have their storage tanks buried below ground; and the colder the ground, the denser the gasoline. When it gets warmer gasoline expands, so if you're filling up in the afternoon or in the evening, what should be a gallon is not exactly a gallon. In the petroleum business, the specific gravity and temperature of the fuel (gasoline, diesel, jet fuel, ethanol and other petroleum products) are significant. Every truckload that we load is temperature-compensated so that the indicated gallonage is actually the amount pumped. A one-degree rise in temperature is a big deal for businesses, but service stations don't have temperature compensation at their pumps.
2. If a tanker truck is filling the station's tank at the time you want to buy gas, do not fill up; most likely dirt and sludge in the tank is being stirred up when gas is being delivered, and you might be transferring that dirt from the bottom of their tank into your car's tank.
3. Fill up when your gas tank is half-full (or half-empty), because the more gas you have in your tank the less air there is and gasoline evaporates rapidly, especially when it's warm. (Gasoline storage tanks have an internal floating 'roof' membrane to act as a barrier between the gas and the atmosphere, thereby minimizing evaporation.)
4. If you look at the trigger you'll see that it has three delivery settings: slow, medium and high. When you're filling up do not squeeze the trigger of the nozzle to the high setting.
You should be pumping at the slow setting, thereby minimizing vapors created while you are pumping. Hoses at the pump are corrugated; the corrugations act as a return path for vapor recovery from gas that already has been metered. If you are pumping at the high setting, the agitated gasoline contains more vapor, which is being sucked back into the underground tank, so you're getting less gas for your money.
Hope this will help ease your 'pain at the pump'!

Drugs doing the rounds in Malaysia, possibly targeting young kids
This is a new drug known as 'strawberry quick'
There is a very scary thing going on in the schools right now that we all need to be aware of.
There is a type of crystal meth going around that looks like strawberry pop rocks (the candy that sizzles and 'pops' in your mouth). It also smells like strawberry and it is being handed out to kids in school yards . They are calling it strawberry meth or strawberry quick. Kids are ingesting this thinking that it is candy and being rushed off to emergency in dire condition. It also comes in chocolate, peanut butter, cola, cherry, grape and orange.
Please instruct your children to not accept candy from strangers and even not to accept candy that looks like this from a friend (who may have been given it and believe it is candy) and to take any that they may have to a teacher, principal, etc. immediately.
Fews cases had already happended in Malaysia. I hope people as you can (even if they don't have kids) raise awareness and hopefully prevent any tragedies from occurring.

I am going to move into my new house on this Saturday 19 January, 2008. I went to Melaka to visit a master who is good in feng sui. He advised me the good day and time to move into a new house. I told him that I just want a simple and easy way to move in. I dont want to follow many rules which are toublesome . I go easy as below:
1) Switch on all the house lights at 11.00 AM on 16 January, 2008 (3 days before moving in)
2) Put a red cloth on the top of the front door
3) Throw RM 99.99 into the master bed room (must all in coins, not bills)
4) Lock the door and dont let others go in for 3 days
5) On 19 January, 2008 at 11.00 AM, move all the new buy stuffs like new bed, shampoo, plates, bowls .. into the house, dont move old stuffs
6) Open all the pipe water in the house and said "Sui dou choy lai" means water come money come!
7) Collect all the coins in the master bed room and wrap them up and put into closet (dont use it)
hhehehe that's all
Finally, I paid him RM 20 for the consultancy fees. Damn cheap!

My brother Jason's first son was born at Putrajaya Hospital last week on January 9, 2008. Jason named him 'Zheng Yi'.On the first day the baby was born, he was in an unhealthy condition and his face is yellowish.
When the doctor smack his backside, he did not cry like other normal babies would..Zheng Yi had to stay in the NICU for further observation. All if us were worried about him. He was taken care by the nurse and doctor for a week. Luckily, Zheng Yi's condition got better and was discharged yesterday. The parents of Zheng Yi were so happy to receive this newborn baby of theirs. They handled him with utmost care like all parents do.Here attached is the pic of the one week old baby.
Oh ya, before I conclude, I must say that I have a new status as the big uncle of Zheng yi, that means I am getting older too.... :(

Time passed so fast! Today is already the 2nd week of year 2008, I made wishes last year, and 3 of them came true!
1) Climb to the Low's Peak at Kinabalu Mountain, Sabah.
2) Steps my foot on the Great Wall, Beijing.
3) Get a girl friend.
I have made a wish list for this year 2008, and hopefully I can achive all:
1) Arrange a trip and bring Mei Sann to the Star Cruise.
2) Finish done the renovation and move into my new condo.
3) Do a refreshment with Mr. Low who is my dive instructor and go for a local diving, I almost 2 years did not go diving. I nearly forgot how to use the gears and equipments.
4) Try to close deals and get 3 more freelance projetcts for this year.
So, do you have any wishes for this year 2008?
